I currently serve as President & CEO of Soul2Soul Global, a mission-driven company that provides couples and parenting retreats and coaching. I also serve as Associate Professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (Los Angeles).  My clinical work and research has focused on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer clients, relationship issues, children/adolescents, families and ethnic minority mental health. 

Currently, I also serve on the American Psychological Association's Joint Task Force for Revising the Guidelines for Professional Practice with Sexual Minority Clients.  I previously served as Program Director at a mental health agency, where I oversaw the child and adult therapy programs, as well as a Clinical Psychologist with two child/family mental health programs directly operated by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. Previously, I also served as the Co-Chair of the Commission for Youth and Families in Long Beach, California, where I was charged with developing services for children and families and advising the mayor and city council on services for these populations.

With over two decades of teaching, administrative and clinical experience, I have presented over 150 workshops nationally and on four continents. The workshops have focused on gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender couples, relationship issues, LGBT parenting, spirituality, ethnic minority mental health and LGBT mental health.

There are three lines to choose from two leave from Powell Street and head towards Fisherman’s Wharf and the other rides from east to west on Californian Street.

An absolute must for any first-time trip to San Francisco is a tour of the world-famous prisoner island, Alcatraz. Boats leave from Pier 33 and take you directly to the cell house, which was in operation from 1934 to 1963. Once there you can tour the island and prison to discover what the cells were like, where the prisoners ate and more including some of its mysteries. Before or after touring the island be sure to visit Pier 39, a few piers east, for an animal surprise.
